/I believe this is my final classic monster conversion, but here is the Creature from the Black Lagoon!

/October is over, but I still had some more classic monsters I wanted to do for D&D 5e.
For our next entry, the Eighth Wonder of the World, King Kong!
Apparently they're gearing up for a King Kong vs Godzilla movie. Based on the stats, I think Godzilla has the upper hand, but what do you think?

/The fearsome goat vampire is the next monster for Monster Month!
I was first introduced to the chupacabra through the Jackie Chan animated series, and it always held a special place in my heart because of that.

/Halloween's right around the corner, and our newest monster for Monster Month is Jason Vorhees!

/I recently played Shadow of Mordor for the first time, and it was great! I decided to stat up Talion for 5e.

/It’s the showdown with the boss. The heroes have beaten all the monsters, disabled all the traps, and found the key to the boss’ chamber. It’s time for the climatic showdown you’ve been waiting for!
And then the heroes all beat the boss’ initiative and nova him with their strongest abilities, killing him before he gets a chance to act.
This can be an awesome experience for the players, but can sometimes feel anticlimactic. As a GM, you want the players to succeed. A struggle is conflict, which can make the story more interesting. You don’t need the boss to be unbeatable, but you do want them to be a threat. What can you do?
